Steiff 'SCARECROW' is the very famous character from the 'Wizard of Oz'.
Dorothy is on her way to the Emerald City when she meets and befriends 'THE SCARECROW' who is recognized as 'the wisest man in all of Oz'.
This magical piece is made of the finest antique caramel mohair and is fully jointed. Steiff have skillfully designed an outfit for the SCARECROW which is finished off with a matching hat and he has such a sweet face with black eyes and hand embroidered golden brown nose and mouth.
Steiff have given this limited edition bear a very special gold plated 'button in the ear' embossed with an elephant. This is to celebrate the trademarks 110th annniversary.
The original Wizard of Oz film was released in 1939 - so Steiff have made this bear a limited edition of just 1,939 pieces and is exclusively for UK/Ireland and USA.
