In Memory of the Titanic

The sinking of the ship 'Titanic' is a tragedy which will never be forgotten.
After the disaster on April 11th 1912, Steiff produced for the first time black teddy bears - all to honour the grief of al those affected by the sad loss. Less than 500 of these mourning bears were made and all sold out very quickly. At the Steiff Sommer 2023 one of these bears sold for a New World Record of 180,000 Euros.

This bear is a magnificent limited edition replica of one of those exceptionally rare Teddy Bears.
Only 912 of these bears are to be made.

The Steiff Replica 1912 Bear is made from black curly RMS mohair and is 5-way jointed which means you can move his head, arms and legs.

His paw pads are made of beige felt and he has black glass eyes which have red felt lace placed around them together with smart hand embroidered nose.
Down the front of the bear their is a center seam and he also will growl just for you.

THIS BEAR IS IN MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THE SINKING OF THE TITANIC ON APRIL 1th, 1912.
