Steiff XANDER KOALA is here just for you and is made from Bamboo Viscose Pllush with Linen accents on ears and chest.
His paws are made from biobased Alcantara-Leather and he is filled with corn fibres.
He has large ears, unique eyes and large nose - all part of this amazing animal from Australia.
And he is 5 way jointed (which means you can move his head, arms and legs).

'KOALA' means 'No Water'.
Their name comes from the language of Aborigines, who dubbed them 'KOALA' (No water) because the animals drank no water and got their moisture from eucalptus leaves.
They have five fingers, which includes an opposable thumb that helps them grip tree branches and they use their thickly padded tail to help them sit in trees for hours.

SANDER KOALA is part of the distinctive 'Teddies for Tomorrow' series and he has a chest tag made of brass on his chest.
