Here we have Steiffs Snow White, one of the most beloved fairytale figures of all time. This princess is made of wonderfully soft, snow white mohair and is dressed in a splendid evening gown made of velvet and silk and is a true beauty with her big, watchful, glass pupil-eyes and sweet hand embroidered red nose. She is fully jointed and has flat felt soles which helps to keep her steady whilst standing in her voluminous evening gown. As one would expect of a princess the evening gown is made of only the finest materials and is meticulously stitched. The blouse is made with attached cuffs and decorated with fine mother-of-pearl buttons, yet the sleeves of the blouse as well as her bloomers are made of pure, gold-shimmering silk. Snow White is wearing an overdress made of organza which is embroidered with delicate ornamental stitching and beautifully sparkling lace-up bow and Swarovski beads completes the festive evening attire. The whole outfit was especially designed for Snow White by Steiff. In her hand, she is holding an apple - just as in the fairy story. The apple is made of pressed wool felt and is handmade. Snow White is highly collectible as Steiff have only made 500 pieces worldwide.
