Steiff Shaggy Bear Replica 1914 is made from the finest mohair in a warm dark brown colour.Just like the original 1914 Steiff bear he is hand stuffed with wood shavings and has shiny glass eyes together with hand embroidered black mouth.
Steiff introduced its Shaggy Bear in 1914 and it remained in the product range until 1927, its popularity attributable above all to its magnificent shaggy fur, endearing features and soft texture.
To mark the year it was originally introduced Steiff are now presenting the Shaggy bear 1914 Replica in a limited edition of just 914 pieces worldwide.
This Replica 1914 Bear has an underscored button in his ear which is made of patinated steel giving his limited edition number. Then Steiff attach the limited edition white label to one of his legs.
