This extraordinary MICKEY MOUSE is presented in a monochrome platinum colour that DISNEY are using to celebrate their anniversary.

DISNEY MICKEY MOUSE D100 PLATINUM has a body made of fine cotton velvet and trousers made of glitter fabric.
He is 5-way jinted, and his legs are reinforced with link wire.
This character is part of DISNEY'S 100th anniversary, so he wears this special chest tag with the embossed anniversary logo.

DISNEY ANNIVERSARY - 100 YEARS OF DISNEY
In 1931, Steiff made the first Mickey Mouse for Walt Disney.
A partnership that continues to this day.
Walt Disney appointed George Borgfeldt and Company based in New York City, to handle the licensing rights for Mickey Mouse.
George Borgfeldt already represented Steiff in the USA and so Steiff became one of the first companies to be granted a license to make Mickey Mouse.
By the end of 1931, such was the demand for Mickey Mouse toys, that Steiff made 30.000 toys in one year alone. By 1936 the number had increased to 53.000 Mickeys and further 13.000 Minnies.
