Steiff DISNEY DONALD DUCK is celebrating his 90th Anniversary which began on 9th June 1934.

A very special duck loved over many, many years!

He is made from the finest white mohair and has a very famous face with black eyes and bright yellow mouth which is matched with yellow legs and feet all made from velvet.

He is wearing a blue sailor jacket which has light blue collar and also intricately decorated with satin ribbons.
To finish DISNEY DONALD DUCK is wearing a black satin bow tie and white sailor hat.

As DONALD DUCK does not have ears Steiff have attached the famous button on to his jacket.

Donald Duck, created by The Walt Disney Company, is an anthropomorphic white duck known for his distinctive yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet. He typically sports a sailor shirt, cap, and bow tie. Donald is celebrated for his semi-intelligible speech and exhibits a mischievous, temperamental, and occasionally pompous personality. Alongside Mickey Mouse, he was recognized in TV Guide's list of the 50 greatest cartoon characters in 2002 and has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Donald holds the distinction of appearing in more Disney films than any other character.

Donald Duck made his debut in "The Wise Little Hen" (1934) and gained prominence in "Orphan's Benefit" later that year, establishing himself as Mickey Mouse's lively foil. Over the following decades, Donald starred in over 150 theatrical films, several of which received accolades at the Academy Awards. In the 1930s, he often teamed up with Mickey and Goofy in comedic trios before starring in his own series starting with "Don Donald" (1937). These films introduced his girlfriend Daisy Duck and frequently featured his mischievous nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. After "Chips Ahoy" (1956), Donald appeared primarily in educational films until his return to theatrical animation in "Mickey's Christmas Carol" (1983). His final theatrical appearance was in "Fantasia 2000" (1999), with subsequent roles in direct-to-video releases like "Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers" (2004), television series including "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" (2006–2016), and video games like "QuackShot" (1991) and the "Kingdom Hearts" series.

Beyond animation, Donald is renowned in comic strips worldwide, notably through the works of Al Taliaferro, Carl Barks, and Don Rosa. Barks expanded Donald's universe, introducing characters such as his wealthy uncle Scrooge McDuck. Donald's popularity is particularly pronounced in Europe, where his weekly magazine "Kalle Anka & C0 was he comics publication with the highest circulation from the 1950s to 2009. In Italy, he features prominently in various comics, including juvenile versions like "Paperino Paperotto" and his superhero alter ego, "Paperinik" (Duck Avenger).

Known for his unique voice, developed by Clarence Nash, Donald's speech is characterized by a distinctive, partly intelligible style. His personality traits include a fiery temper, prankster tendencies, and a penchant for bragging about his abilities, often leading to comedic situations. Despite his shortcomings, Donald displays perseverance and courage when faced with challenges. His friendly rivalry with Mickey Mouse occasionally surfaces, reflecting his desire for recognition and spotlight within the Disney universe, a dynamic explored in various media adaptations like "House of Mouse."
