Steiff Yes/No Bear is made from the finest blond mohair and is fully jointed. Beginning in the 1920's mechanical bears became very popular - but surprisingly it seems that up to now Steiff has never made one. So here Steiff puts this right by designing a mechanical 'Yes/No' bear which turns his head up and down or left and right when his tail is moved. He is designed with a sturdy brass and steel inner mechanism. A very attractive bear with big black eyes and ruffle around his neck. His face has a hand embroidered mouth and nose and his paw pads are made of the finest felt. Limited edition of just 1,000 pieces for the UK and Ireland. A new and significant piece designed by Steiff and the second piece in the newly launched 'European Collection' series. A real collectors item!
