Steiff Sir Edward Bear is made from a material specially made for this bear of the finest batik mohair in an 'old gold' colour. Steiff has designed this special bear to commemorate the baroque era. He is dressed in a manorial coat sewn from a rich Jacquard fabric. Under his coat he is wearing a tailored dupion silk vest. Both his coat and vest are trimmed with burnished golden buttons. Sir Edward is wearing a jabot around his neck made from exquisite handmade lace which also trims the cuffs of his sleeves. His paw pads are made from the finest felt and his face has black eyes and hand stitched nose and mouth with a gold horizontal stitch across the nose. A very regal and handsome bear. Limited edition of just 1,500 pieces worldwide.
