Steiff designers wanted to make a special bear which looked as if it had just been discovered after being hidden away in an attic for over one hundred years................and she also had to look like she had been loved, hugged and played with. And so Millie was born. She is made from the finest golden brown mohair which has been given a vintage feel. When you look at her nose you will see that a few stitches have been missed, simulating a worn look and her paw pads are shaded to make her look old and dusty - just as if she has just come down from the attic. Around her neck is a vintage-style collar made from velvet and felt. She has small black eyes and is fully jointed with a loosely attached head which gives that wobbly feeling of an old and cared for bear. Limited edition of just 1,500 pieces worldwide.
