The Steiff Matryoshka Bear brings together two time honoured traditions. Although most people associate the hand turned and painted Matryoshka nesting dolls with Russia, they originally came from Japan over 100 years ago. If you open the nesting doll that our Teddy Bear is holding in his paw, you will discover a treasure of a different sort. Instead of another doll, you will find a little 8cm Teddy Bear made of the finest wool felt. Both bears are fully jointed and the main bear is made from the finest brown mohair. Small ears, black shiny eyes, hand stitched brown nose and mouth together with felt pawpads. Limited edition of just 1,500 pieces worldwide.
