This special teddy bear has been designed by Steiff to commemorate the 100th anniversay of the life of Margarete Steiff since May 1909. He is made of the finest light blond mohair, growls when tipped over and is fully jointed. His mouth and nose have been hand embroidered and he wears a big red silk bow embroidered with the commemorative dates 1909 - 2009. Surface washable. White label with red writing and with the famous Steiff gold-plated 'underscored button' in the ear.
