Steiff 'Grandpa' Teddy Bear is an outstanding bear made from soft sand coloured mohair, fully jointed and is sitting with his big book of fairy tales in his hand - one can only imagine how often he has told these magical stories. He is made from soft sand coloured mohair and is wearing his wire-framed spectacles together with a beige linen waistcoat - matching his soles - with old gold coloured buttons. His nightcap falls gently on his shoulder and his adorable face has black eyes and hand embroidered brown nose and mouth. We listen spellbound until we finally hear the old familiar words 'AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER'. Limited edition of just 1,500 pieces worldwide. This bear has a special gold plated 'button in ear' embossed with an elephant to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Steiff trademark.
