Steiff Replica Teddy Bear is magical!
He is made from finest russet 'aged' mohair and is full jointed - his head, arms and legs are loosely attached to the body.
You are forgiven thinking this lovely bear has just been discovered in an old dusty toy box hidden away in the attic, an easy mistake!
The Teddy bear replica 1906 is an artistic imitation of a Steiff bear from old dating right back to the heydays of Steiff bears.
He is 40cm tall and exudes the charm and character Richard Steiff gifted the bears all those years ago.
He has light brown paw pads which have little holes in them - this lets you know that the original 1906 was cuddled and loved and this is how he looks today.
Just pressed his stomach and he will squeak and he has an 'underscored button' made of patinated steel in the ear, just as the 1906 original. His Steiff Replica label is then attached half way his body.
