Steiff Fairy tale Little RED RIDING HOOD AND THE WOLF - two famous characters from a story written by the Brothers Grimm.
LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD is made from russet alpaca with a white patch on her face and hand embroidered dark brown mouth and nose. Two tone eyes just finish her off.
She is fully jointed with head and arms loosely attached to the body and dressed in a beautifully designed dress and red cloak and hood. Her coat ties under the front and is lined in a smart checked material - and her dress is beautifully made with a plain top and a patterned bottom trimmed with lace white.
She is holding her basket (which is so famous in the story) filled with a blanket, cake and bottle of wine.
Next to her you can see the WOLF who is made from quality alpaca in grey with a white face and hand embroidered mouth and nose together with perfect eyes. His paw pads have been also hand embroidered with black thread.
Both items have a similar limited edition button in their ears - so a lovely way to collect two Steiff items from a worldwide famous story.
