The Steiff ARMISTICE bear is made to remind us of the end of World War 1 on 11th November 1918.
It has been made to support the famous and worthwhile Armed Forces charity SSAFA (Soldier, Sailor, Airman Family Association).
We are delighted to tell you that on the sale of each ARMISTICE bear we with Steiff are donating £20 to the SSAFA charity.
This teddy bear is made from the finest blond mohair and is 5-way jointed (means you can move his arm, legs and head).
He is magnificently embroidered with the famous red poppies together with green leaves.
His face has black eyes, red hand stitched nose and mouth together with elegant ears - just look at them and you will see that one has the world wide famous Steiff limited edition button in the ear whilst the other ear has an embroidered poppy.
He has the SSAFA emblem on his right paw pad.
And he has the famous Steiff bear growl - just move the bear backwards and forwards and you will hear this wonderful sound.
Limited edition of just 1,918 pieces made by Steiff - and this number has been chosen due to the fact that World War 1 ceased in the year 1918.
Surface washable.
