It is hard to believe, but Hello Kitty is turning 40! To celebrate her anniversary, Steiff is producing this highly collectible commemorative edition based on the character's original plush version. When she debuted in 1974, Hello Kitty was accompanied by her favourite teddy bear. So it is only fitting that Steiff reproduces this deisgn. Hello Kitty is made from the finest mohair with white head and legs. Her body and arms bring in a glorious blue, yellow and red colour. Her eyes and nose have been skillfully hand embroidered and finally she has her signature red bow perched on the top of her head. She also comes with her favourite teddy who is made from velvety soft boa and has a cute face and red bow. So here you have two Steiff items each with a white limited edition tag in the ear. Steiff Hello Kitty is a North American limited edition of just 1,500 pieces.
