The Steiff Saphire Teddy Bear is so called as he is made from luxurious exclusive plush which is woven from 100% silk strands and has been dyed to a magnificent deep blue colour. This material gives the bear a wonderful silky soft touch which is completely different to the Steiff mohair bears. The paws on this bear have been encrusted with Swarovski elements which make them shine and sparkle and around Saphires neck is a sparkling choker also made from Swarovski elements. The bears face has shiny black eyes and a sweet nose which has been hand embroidered with silver thread. Finally the button in the ear is made from a stunning Swarovski Xillion Crystal. All in all this bear sparkles with love from head to toe! Limited edition of just 2,000 pieces worldwide. Surface washable.
